For thousands of years, Psalm 91 has been an inspiration, comfort, and promise for warriors in harm’s way. The ancient descriptions can easily be applied to the horrors of modern warfare. “Fowler’s snare,” “deadly pestilence,” and the “arrow that flies by day” also describe snipers, insurgency, IEDs, and terrorism.
The valiant men and women who serve our nation stand strong for their families and our freedoms day after day.
